Absolutely LOVED this book. In fact, I loved it so much I gave it away to friends as a Christmas gift this year. It tells you exactly how it is, (the good the bad and the ugly) and makes you feel like although we ALL have bad days- we are still good mothers. Something I am in desperate need to hear every now and then.If you are like me, and HAVE to have the PERFECT cake at a birthday party, or the kids have to have their hair done PERFECTLY on picture day no matter what chaos this may cause the morning of, READ THIS BOOK! I swear it will make you laugh and cry all at the same time. It also has several chapters on mothers who feel like they are so much MORE than "just a stay at home mother" and redefining what that means. It talks about taking care of ourselves FIRST (what??) so that we can be the best mother, wife, sister, friend we can be. How many of us have stood at the kitchen table eating left over scraps for breakfast because we have so many things "to do", we can't sit down for a proper meal? READ THIS BOOK! It won't disappoint you.

ok, so i might not be a mom yet, but you enticed me to want to read this book! and i think that sometimes we have those days even when we are just a wife! We are women, its in our blood to feel this way and to put ourselves last, etc. but it's so true that we are better women when we treat ourself like we treat other people! so i might go and get it now...or maybe in the summer...or maybe once i'm a mommy! miss you shan!

Loved the book...forgot to tell you...I would read a lttle each day while waiting for Dalen at school...I would fold pages I HAD to share with Josh... Book was dead on and such a great laugh...
