No cameras at Pinkberry Hull...

Sometimes I need a night out with the girls to get back in touch with my "real" self. The me who loves to people watch and asks for a mochi ball "just because." The girl who loves to laugh until she cries. Then cries some more because she is once again reminded of who is missing. The real self who loves her friends as much as she does her family. Scratch that- my friends are my family. I need a night out to remind myself that I am more than just a sandwich making, nose wiping, clothes folding, stay at home mother of two and wife to a man I never feel worthy of. I need a night out to realize that I have more in common with those I would least expect, and remember how much I love getting to know someone new. It's okay to make that phone call and see if they want to come even if they haven't ever been before. Maybe they'll say yes. And hopefully we'll pick her up before 9 and she has decided to go to bed! In the past few months, I have learned how to hold on to those I love a little tighter and let go of those I love a little less. It's okay for me to say I'm "just going to get ice cream" and be gone for 3 hours. Guilt free no less. Thank you girls for another one of those nights. I needed it.

having a "girls night out" is much needed in our girly lives! I cherish everyone that I have and I can only imagine that once our baby comes I'll cherish them even more!

Yes they are needed. Thankfully we all have husbands, friends and family that will alow us the "girl time". Thanks for including me even if it is after my bed time! I am sure it was a shock that I said YES!

Thanks for introducing me to the mochi ball! You are so fun to get out with and I love getting to know your "real" self. You're so great to invite someone new and load up your car for a night of eats, laughter and tears! All girls need friends like that. I'm thankful to call you friend.

That was a lot of fun...I don't think I laughed so hard in a long time! Thanks for introducing me to the wonderful goodness of Pinkberry (with fruity pebbles)! Next time I want to try Red Mango!

Hey Shannon, It's Bethany.
I know what you mean. Sometimes when you have someone so amazing in your life you cant help but wonder, "What did I do to deserve my wonderful husband" But then you have to step back and realize his family came with him, and sometimes that isn't so wonderful. But for real I am right there with you.

OH, I know just what you mean! Its been so hard being away from my sisters and my good girls friends! You are so lucky to have friends so close by! I was so grateful to have Summer over a few weekends ago and then on Ginger's birthday my friends decided to fly me out to a cabin for a girls' get-away. Husbands are great but there's nothing like your good girl friends!!
